This is the first post on the bgIT blog. I decided to share here the knowledge I gather in my daily work at the intersection of software development and security.
What I will write about
- E-commerce security audits — the most common issues I find and how to avoid them.
- Secure software development — practices worth adopting in a development team.
- Vulnerability analysis — how to think about the security of web applications.
Why security?
For years I built software. Today I use that experience from the other side — looking at applications the way an attacker would. Knowing the code from the inside is a huge advantage when hunting for flaws.
The best security is the one designed from the very beginning, not bolted on at the end.
